How to Use the Manage Database Options

Note: bitB will have to be run with the ManageDatabase parameter

 Instructions

  1. Once you have logged in and started bitB, navigate to the Admin tab and select Manage Database

  2. You will be presented with several options

  3. To create missing indexes first run “View Missing Indexes” . This option adds the missing indexes to the log file.

    Then select Create Missing Indexes. Note: This option is grayed out if there are no indexes to create.

  4. To Upgrade the database, select Upgrade Database

  5. To Shrink the database, select Shrink Database

  6. To Execute the DB Script, select Execute DB Script

  7. To Rebuild Log Tables, select Rebuild Log Tables

  8. We may ask that you export the database schema. This will export a .JSON file. To download the file, select Get Database Schema
