How to restart the bitB Site

  1. Open the Start menu and select Server Manager or type Server Manager and select it

  2. When IIS Manager is ready to run you will see IIS listed on the left of the window as shown in the following image

     

  3. Open the Tools menu and select Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager

     

  4. Expand the server in the tree on the left-hand side of the window. Select
    bitBAPI.

  5. On the right-hand side, restart the bitBAPI site.

     

  6. Once the site has been restarted, select the bitBAPI website on the left-hand side of the window and then select the
    Browse 443 (https) option to open an Internet Explorer session to the bitBAPI
    website.

     

  7. The bitB Server uses a locally signed certificate. When IE opens, select Go on to
    the webpage (not recommended)

     

  8. If the bitB API service has started properly and the website is up and running, you will
    see the API Running message.
