How to delete and recreate the bitBAPI certificate

Open Server Manager

Wait until you see IIS listed.

Select Internet Information Services

Click to highlight the server and then double-click Server Certificates

Right-mouse click the bitBAPI certificate and click remove

Select Yes at the Confirm Remove dialog

Select Create Self-Signed Certificate

Enter bitBAPI as the friendly name and select Personal from the dropdown and select Ok

The new certificate is created and shown in the certificate list

Click on the bitBAPI website

Select Edit under Site Bindings, Edit bindings, and select the bitBAPI SSL certificate. Click OK

Click Restart under Manage Website

Click Browse *.443 (https)

Internet Explorer will open

You should see a webpage with a message saying API Running. You might be prompted that this is a self-signed cert - select continue.
