How to delete and recreate the bitBAPI certificate

  1. Open Server Manager

  2. Wait until you see IIS listed.

  4. Select Internet Information Services

  6. Click to highlight the server and then double-click Server Certificates

  8. Right-mouse click the bitBAPI certificate and click remove

  10. Select Yes at the Confirm Remove dialog

  12. Select Create Self-Signed Certificate

  14. Enter bitBAPI as the friendly name and select Personal from the dropdown and select Ok

  16. The new certificate is created and shown in the certificate list

  18. Click on the bitBAPI website

  20. Select Edit under Site Bindings, Edit bindings, and select the bitBAPI SSL certificate. Click OK

  21. Click Restart under Manage Website

  23. Click Browse *.443 (https)

  25. Internet Explorer will open

  27. You should see a webpage with a message saying API Running. You might be prompted that this is a self-signed cert - select continue.
