  1. Download the bitBClientInstaller

  2. The Installer will start and show the Welcome to the bitB Client Setup Wizard

  3. The End User License Agreement is shown next. 

  4. The Customer Experience Improvement Program is shown next. bitB will collect anonymous usage information to help better support the bitB community.

  5. The installer is now installing the bitB files.

  6. The bitB installer will check the bitB Internet Download site for a new version of the bitB Client.

  7. The installer will look for prerequisites.

  8. Now the installer will install the bitB Client.

  9. You have a choice to allow everybody to access the bitB install or you can select Only for Me. We recommend the Everybody setting.

  10. The default directory for bitB Client is C:\Program Files\QoS Networking\bitB Client. You can change the drive letter and/or the names of the directory.

  11. The installer will start after this slide.

  12. The installer has started.

  13. You need to give permission for the bitB Installer to run.

  14. Extracting files from the installer.

  15. You can view the event log if there was an issue with the installation.

  16. You are now ready to connect to the bitB Server. Start the bitB Client and enter the IP Address of the bitB Server.

  17. The default username and password is admin

  18. You will be prompted to change the admin username and password.

  19. You can add local usernames or you can pass authentication through to Microsoft Active Directory or another LDAP directory.

  20. Note: Users can only have one open session at a time.
