Preparation Checklist

  • You are making a fresh bitB installation.
  • You are a network engineer or system administrator.
  • You have administrator Privileges or can run the installer with elevated privileges.
  • You have reviewed the software and hardware information on General Software and Hardware Requirements 

Getting the Installer

  1. Download the installer
  2. bitBClientInstaller is the full installation

Before you begin

The bitB Client requires a bitB Server. bitB Server must be running and accessible by the bitB CLient during the installation. A license is not required for the bitB Client.

Running the installer

The installation wizard walks you through all steps in the correct order.

  1. Exit all other programs before running the setup program.
  2. Run the bitBClientInstaller.exe file.
  3. The installer will start with the Welcome to the prerequisite's setup wizard screen.
  4. If you have not obtained a license, do so before using the software.
  5. Done.
