The purpose of this article is to provide a step-by-step guide on how to set up LDAP for bitB.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

  1. Create an AD group for bitB Users

    1. the below group’s set up is not specific, please adjust accordingly to your organization's policies.

      1. Note: You do not have to create a new group, an existing one may be used as well.

  2. In the bitB Client, navigate to Admin - LDAP Settings

    1. A window will appear for you to enter the IP of your domain controller and the group created in Step 1

      1. Note: Leaving the LDAP Allow Group(s) field blank will allow all users

  3. If the user(s) are not appearing, please issue a password/AD Sync

bitB is used as a passthrough to AD.
