    The Prerequisites dialog is shown. The bitB Server setup can use a local or remote SQL Server installation. The default is to install SQL Server 2017 Express if there is no local SQL Server. You can uncheck SQL Server Express 2017 if you are using a remote SQL Server installation. Note: Uncheck Visual C++ Redistribute. That is no longer needed for bitB Server.

  10. Now that the bitB Server install was successful, you will need to initialize the bitB API Server. Open the Start menu and select Server Manager.

    Once IIS Manager opens, expand the server to show the bitBAPI site. Now select the Browse 443 (https) option to open an Internet Explorer session to the bitBAPI website.
